Folade (fo-lah-day) is my birth name. Yoruba for crowned, or This child brings honor to the family. I am a Reiki Master Teacher of Karuna and Tibetan Usui Reiki, Spiritual Medium, and wellness product Maker. Throughout my experience, I have been certified as a Birth Doula, and assigned to work in alignment with crystals, sound therapy and plant essence.

I am a mother  of two teens who bring a new meaning to "teenager." They are easy to mother, they are funny and thoughtful. It was their births that led me to Reiki, to pack something additional for their care and healing in the Momma basket. I would later open to being who I am beyond my family and offer these services to you. 

 

Adé Wellness | Infusion was born in 2021, named by my sister. Adé - half of my name- means "crowned" in the Yoruba language. In constant gratitude of nature and plant essence, I stay birthing new products,  I stay pregnant with ideas, recipes and exploration. It is my honor to share products that nurture the skin, senses and the overall emotional, physical and mental bodies.

It was my grandmother who passed down the Maker and the Medium genes. It was her who saw I was holding the inner gift she passed to me. We'd talk about apparition, how to communicate with our Ancestors, how to hold them in a space and listen.  I had an affinity for my Ancestors as early as I could speak. My bedtime stories were their life stories. Gram was a powerful Story Teller, Root Woman and Home Maker. With three gardens, and an orchard bounty, she made everything from scratch and from the ground. Her basement infusions stocked deeply in mason jars kept the winters warm.

Along the way, I have developed experience and practice in crystals, Ayurvedic healing therapy, Aura  Photography and translation, Akashic Records, and a lifelong study of apothecary exploration and lifestyle,  Before my son's birth, I created handmade body products that were sold in  stores in Seattle, Hawaii, Chicago and  Vancouver British Columbia.  I've returned to the curation of handmade wellness products with my Infusion offerings.
